Classification of Data Collectors
Currently, data collectors can be categorized into batch data collectors, industrial data collectors and RFID data collectors.
1.Batch processing of data collector
Work offline, batch data collection, and communicate with the computer via USB cable or serial data cable. The data collector is equipped with an embedded operating system (developed independently by each manufacturer and not compatible), and the operating system requires independent development of applications.
At present, this data collector is rarely used, mainly due to the lack of data processing capabilities and mobile work (only through) USB and computer wired connection).
Second, industrial data collector
The data collector can always be connected to the local application software database through a wireless network (WIFI, GPRS or Bluetooth) to update the data in real time.
The data collector is equipped with data collector WINCE, windows mobile or andrios built-in wireless communication module operating system (WIFI,GPRS or Bluetooth). Industrial data collector supports customized switching signal SMS alarm content, customized alarm recovery content; low data traffic, less than 30M per month, support for China Mobile or China Unicom 2G/3G/4G cell phone card; built-in antenna or external suction cup antenna optional (default built-in), the device supports secondary development; device parameters full SMS settings, SMS query, SMS alarm, voice bell alarm and so on. IP65 protection level, can be used in the field for a long time in the rain and snow environment, with waterproof, fall prevention, pressure resistance and other capabilities.
RFID data collector
Industrial RFID data collector with durable design and excellent performance RFID reader engine can achieve faster reading speeds and greater throughput. The new breakthrough direction is the slow antenna, making it an extremely flexible and versatile device that can freely cope in customer environments such as retail stores, healthcare facilities and offices.
Applications for industrial data collectors
If there is no utility power in the field, the site has a range 0~30m/s wind speed sensor, 4~20mA real-time data uploaded to the environmental monitoring real-time uploaded to the environmental monitoring cloud platform to achieve centralized monitoring. At this time, GPRS data collector and solar panel can be used to supply power for the equipment, the data collector collects the data from the wind speed sensor and transmits it to the environmental monitoring cloud platform app via GPRS via computer or cell phone to view the data.
Hardware connection: 4~20mA after the wind speed sensor is powered separately as shown in the figure, connect the signal output lines (yellow and black) AD1 and GND (the first circuit of analog input) DC 12V as shown in the figure, and receive the power supply (brown and black) VCC and GND. after powering on the device, the device running light blinks once a second.
